The weather played it's part and the punters flocked to the totes for another successful West Coast racing circuit. Love Racing was there to capture some of the action.

Greymouth local Mick Guerin stopped in to talk about how prestigious the West Coast carnival to the local communities and what makes the week-long event so special.

Day 2 of the West Coast circuit kicked off at Reefton's 1150 metre race course. The race day carried the theme "150 years of Reefton race club" celebrating their years as an active club. A race day the community flocks to, to display the provincial support for the meeting.

The South Island West Coast circuit is country racing at its finest. The week-long carnival hosts 3 meetings starting at Omoto, then Reefton, then finishing off at Kumara.

Southern veterans Chris Johnson and Karen Parsons after grand campaigner Camino Rocoso picked up the Recreation Hotel Greymouth Cup.
