SuperBrain ProductioNZ have put together an amazing team of actors, musicians and crew to bring you the Australasian Premiere of Murder Ballad, the first rock musical this region has seen in a very long time. In order to not have anyone miss this amazing opportunity to see this world-class performance during the uncertainty of a post-Covid-19 economy, we are offering something new and exciting in our ticketing.

Introducing… "Pay what you can afford." Yes, you read that right! Tickets will be on sale with the option to pay what you think you can afford!

With "Pay what you can afford " you can see world-class theatre for what you can afford .

How it works: The recommended ticket price is $45.00 but you will have the option to pick a price that you can afford. No judgement, no disadvantages, its simply how it reads.

We are counting on you to let us know what is right for you. All we ask is if you are in a position where you can pay the $45.00 please do, or if you can afford to please consider paying a little bit more to help cover those who can't. This helps us bring more amazing premieres like Murder Ballad to our shores and helps us offer this support to people who cannot usually afford access to amazing theatre.

Murder Ballad is rated R15 and is a hard-hitting story with Dirty Secrets, Sex and Murder tied together with an incredible musical score of Indie, Rock and Country Rock, which by itself would make for an amazing concert. Written and performed off Broadway for the first time in 2012 this show is very new age and modern. Bringing the real-life emotions and drama of a modern age.

With a live four-piece rock band with heavy lead guitar riffs all the way through, this music will stay with you for some time and may drag some to the dance floor. The musicians that SuperBrain have gathered to form this rock band will definitely not disappoint.

Under the professional direction of Jamie Mosher this local all-star cast of 4 will take you through a roller-coaster of emotions, and with a level of professionalism and talent unsurpassed in recent times. As the title suggest someone must die, but… who will it be and how?

Be there for this exciting new chapter in Theatre and Performing arts here in Greymouth as SuperBrain ProductioNZ brings you the first musical under their name continuing with a level of professionalism you would normally only see in the larger centers. You will not be disappointed!
