A spokesperson said.

Cancer has touched Michelle's family many times .

"I’m shaving my hair off to  support cancer patients including my beautiful cousin Tracy who is currently trying to overcome Burkitt's Lymphoma, my late cousin Jason and my Uncle Kevin who both died last year of brain cancer" Said Gillman.

She told McBride Vision it is a remembrance of all of our loved ones battling or lost to cancer as we try to find more effective treatments and save lives. "We need to make sure people with cancer get the support they need to get through."
