Former Boxing Champion Laid To Rest
A funeral service was held today for former Australasian Heavyweight and New Zealand Light-Heavyweight Champion Johnny Logan

Logan competed at the 1962 Empire Games in Perth among many other big events during his championship career.
One of the most memorable fights for locals was against Tony Mandigan held here in Greymouth at the Army Drill Hall.
Mandigan an Olympic medalist who fought Muhammad Ali twice went down to the 13st 7lb Logan after six rounds.
