Fresh start to the day for many Greymouth residents

Fires and heat pumps were in full use this morning as temperatures dropped for a frosty start to the day. An insulated house can help make the cooler mornings more enjoyable.

Having a well-insulated home is the cornerstone of a warm, dry, healthy home. You can save money on energy bills, and keep the household healthier and more comfortable in all seasons.

A lot of Kiwi houses, particularly the older ones, aren’t well-insulated. More than a third of home heating could be disappearing through the ceiling, and as much as 24% of heat loss can occur through the walls. And, as of 1 July 2019, all rental properties must have underfloor and ceiling insulation where it is reasonably practicable to install.

Mitre 10 Mega Greymouth has a great range of products to help with the process and are currently running a special on Bradford Gold Insulation.
