First-round stoppage for Morgan
Tim Tszyu the Australian boxing star looks set for world glory after dispatching Bowyn Morgan in a ruthless first-round stoppage in Sydney last night.
26 year old Tszyu came out firing as soon as the bell sounded knocking the West Coaster to the ground twice in the opening seconds before the fight was called.
Morgan emerged from the dressing rooms looking fit and ready for the fight of his life but the focus on Tszyu's face told it all.
The son of hall-of-famer Kostya is now calling for his next fight to be for a championship belt.
The under card of Paul Gallen and Mark Hunt proved to be the entertainment of the night. Gallen managed to pull off a unanimous points decision against his biggest scalp of his boxing career.
The former Rugby League star took some huge punishment in the opening round and if MMA's, Hunt had of advanced on the wobbly legged Gallon the result could of been similar to that of Morgans.
