The NZ Police Hockey side got off to a flying start in the Inter-Services Tournament that is currently being played in the Wellington Region.
The team which features two Greymouth women, Natalie Taft-Boddy and Jess Lacy, downed the NZ Air Force side 12-0 yesterday and today managed to dispatch NZ Navy 7-0.
"It’s great to play with a team of highly skilled, fit players who love their hockey. The tournament is competitive with a fun rivalry element," Taft-Boddy said this afternoon.
The Police team looks to have one hand on the trophy with only a couple of games remaining.
