Burnside crash claims two

Serious crash, Burnside - Canterbury

Police confirm two people have died in a crash in Burnside this morning.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on Russley Road about 6.45am.

The drivers of both vehicles died at the scene.

One southbound lane is open, however the northbound lane is expected to be closed for several hours.
